One of a Kind Show Roundup

On the first day, sitting behind my fully stocked booth!

Hey! I’ve finally had the chance to sit down and write about the amazing One of a Kind Spring Show I was so lucky to be a part of.

Quite a few lovely things came out of this show:

  • Many new and returning customers visited my table, laughing and smiling.
  • My little brooch lads got lots of exposure on blogs around the interweb (including Swallow Daily and The Art of Doing Stuff)
  • I received offers to participate in other craft shows
  • I got to meet some wonderful and talented Etsy sellers (seriously, everyone in the Etsy section was so talented it hurt!)
  • I was able to purchase some new things for myself from artisans I love.
  • I made a new friend – Lizzi, owner and one of the creative ladies behind Little Minnow Designs from Austin Texas!

The best thing: my brooches were on TV! They were featured on Canada AM’s One of a Kind spot (Thursday March 27th), and I was interviewed for the Space channel’s Innerspace, which aired Friday March 28th!

All in all, I had an amazing 5 days. I’m so thankful to the One of a Kind team and Etsy Canada for allowing me to be a part of this amazing show, and hopefully my brooches will be back there again for Spring 2015.

On a semi-related note, some exciting new developments will be coming soon  Рstay tuned!

A Wonderous City of Craft!

It was such a pleasure to be a part of City of Craft this past Saturday – the best craft show I’ve ever done! Such wonderful vendors, lovely decorations, great music, and delicious food. Not to mention amazing shoppers! Thanks to everyone who came out to support handmade craft. Here are a few snapshots from the day…

Be The Best You Can Be

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of joining Amy at her place for a wonderful event: ‘Be The Best You Can Be’, celebrating the wonderful person that is you. There was a makeup artist, a professional photographer, and some yummy foods, as well as the usual fare of beautiful candles, jewelry & jewels, meringue treats, and brooches! It was a wonderful day filled with wonderful people.

Amy’s Place is a sweet shop filled with beautiful smells and lovely creations. It’s worth a trip to the Beaches.

Movies & Makers!

What a wonderful Saturday I had this past weekend. I was lucky enough to participate in the Movies & Makers show at the Fox Theatre! Such a lovely, cozy day inside the theatre all decked out with twinkle lights. It was a little slower than previous years (I suppose due to the chilliness outside) but it was still a great time. I met some lovely artisans, sold some brooches, and bought some Christmas presents! I can’t wait until next year already.

Sassy Little Craft Show

I had a great first craft show at Sassy this past Sunday. Just slow enough that I wasn’t overwhelmed! Here are a couple snaps of my tiny display.
