Upcoming Shows!!

This summer has been pretty hectic, in a lot of lovely ways. I took a break from Brooch Boyfriends for the season to focus on some other work and to enjoy the lovely sunshine and travel to lovely places such as Bermuda and Vancouver.

Now that September is upon us, I’m in back-to-school mode, or rather, back-to-brooch mode. You can expect to see more updates on Instagram, Twitter, and here on my blog.

The first update being: Upcoming shows! I have 3 upcoming shows you need to know about.

1. Etsy Made in Canada Day

I’m back for round 2. It was so successful last year, I’m so happy to be a part of it again this year.

2. Kensington Market Art Fair’s Pedestrian Sundays

I’ve never been a part of this show before, though it should be great! The atmosphere is always lovely on a Pedestrian Sunday. The show is Sunday September 27th

3. The One of a Kind Christmas 2015 show!!

This one is pretty darn exciting. 11 days of craft showing. Will I make it? Who knows. But it’s bound to be a wild ride.

Come check out Brooch Boyfriends at all these fine shows! Meet me in person, frantically making stock in order to keep up with demand. It doesn’t get better than that!

Recap: OOAK Spring 2015

I had a wonderful time at the Spring One of a Kind Show this year. I introduced a few new boyfriends (one of which sold out completely… Benedict Cumberbatch), I designed an entire display, and met some amazing new artisans who I will cherish as friends from here forward.

Some highlights:

To tide you over, here’s some angry Ron Swansons.

Brooch Boyfriends at DX3!

One of a Kind Show prep has taken me away from all sorts of life things – including keeping you updated on this blog – however I have some exciting news to share. Brooch Boyfriends has been asked to be a part of the Etsy Marketplace at the DX3 Conference this year at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre!!

For those who don’t know, DX3 is Canada’s largest immersive digital marketing & retail experience. There are many many sponsors which promise a really great show!

DX3 runs the weekend of March 11th and 12th.

Hours:
Wed. March 11th     8am – 5:30pm
Thur. March 12th     8am – 4:30pm

I hope to see you there! Now to get back to brooch prep…

It’s 2015!

2014 is officially complete, and it was a wonderful year for Brooch Boyfriends. A first time at the One of a Kind show, a very successful Etsy Made in Canada day, and much good press to go along with it all.

It’s 2015! A new year, a new start, and some exciting things to look forward to here at BB HQ. We were just featured in Karine Ewart’s Valentine’s Day gift guide on the Chatelaine edition of Cityline, we are gearing up for the One of a Kind Spring 2015 show March 25th to 29th at the Direct Energy Centre, and next week our little guys will be stocked at lovely Roncesvalles gift shop Scout.

What a wonderful year it’s shaping up to be, and we can’t wait for what lies ahead!
